Accessible Technology

CESSI staff members have extensive expertise in providing technical assistance to federal agencies to ensure reasonable accommodation and usable systems for people who have disabilities. CESSI possesses a thorough understanding of Section 501, 504 and 508 of the Rehabilitation Act. CESSI provides services to eight federal agencies and many private corporations regarding accessibility of electronic and information technology. CESSI also provides services pertaining to the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Telecommunications Act and other disability related legislation.

Disability Policy and Services

CESSI provides clients a wide range of management, technical assistance, and training services related to disability and rehabilitation. Among its many projects, CESSI has promoted assistive technology, accessible electronic and information technology, the Americans with Disabilities Act, rehabilitation psychology, independent living, employment of people with disabilities and special education.

Program Management

CESSI provides planning and management services to government clients. These services include strategic program development, education and outreach, evaluation, financial management and program evaluation and improvement. CESSI helps clients examine their work environment, develop management plans, and improve programs.

Conference Management

CESSI successfully organizes and manages hundreds of events a year for federal government agencies and private companies. Professional event planners and conference managers are fully cognizant of how to accommodate all attendees, including individuals with physical, sensory, and cognitive disabilities.

Studies/Analyses

CESSI conducts research and evaluation studies for many federal clients. CESSI conducts comprehensive evaluations and is adept at obtaining OMB clearance for data collection instruments. CESSI creates the data management tools to collect and interpret the data.

Technical Assistance Services

CESSI staff members manage and staff competencies-based technical assistance and support centers to ensure organizations receive orientation, training, activation, and optimization assistance. Our team provides regional coverage and functional support services tailored for unique client requirements. CESSI integrates performance surveillance and quality assurance into the technical assistance model to ensure end customers receive effective services.
